Also, since they're experienced and knowledgeable and know what you want they can also go look at properties the two of you haven't discussed because they know you and the market. They might find a Mississauga home for sale that wasn't approved by you but that they happened to see while going to a different home showing. That's something you can't do since you're not there.

Do your best to locate an agent in the city or country you're going to be moving to. Not only will they help you find your dream home but they will also be able to help you out with the move-in process. They can help you find the perfect mortgage broker or moving company, for example. They can also help you navigate your way around your new city just to get you on your feet.
